Portuguese Please! (formerly Portuguese Translations & Interpretations) was founded in 1996 by M. Luisa Alvim to fill a void in the area of bi-directional European Standard Portuguese translations and interpretation for businesses and individuals. Over almost 30 years of existence we have consistently served corporate and individual clients in Houston, and all over the USA and internationally.

M. Luisa Alvim, founder of Portuguese Translations & Interpretation, a language service focusing on translation and interpretation in English and Portuguese, is a native of Portugal who has resided in the USA for over 40 years. Her love of foreign languages started at an early age when attending school in her country, and was enhanced while living abroad. Throughout her business career, spanning over 35 years of experience in Europe and the USA, Luisa has consistently used her background in languages to promote and facilitate communication between people of different cultures in both personal and business settings.
